Ms. Eileen Gargan-Archived

I have enjoyed teaching Kellogg students for over 32 years! My students know that if they follow these two directives, they will be doing just fine – Be Kind and Work Hard.

The third and fourth grade program at Kellogg is designed to provide a bridge between the primary grades, which are heavily developmental in approach and the upper grades. Third and fourth stresses the acquisition of basic academic skills as well as an awareness of the strategies each individual learner needs to use in order to meet with success. During the day, children are grouped according to the nature of the task and the needs of the learner. Lessons and activities are designed to foster self-esteem, social-emotional growth and to develop the sound work habits of independence and responsibility.
